This was a very special week for me!
To our listeners, guests and friends,
This coming week was a very special week for me. Exactly forty years ago I left Bowling Green University, got on a plane and flew of to Brazil and have been in Brazil ever since. First time on a plane! Not much talk of a global world then.
That week before I got on the plane I had a chance to meet with my brother Ron Reaoch in Akron, Ohio. Ron, a couple of days before had just arrived from a trip to (at that time) Ceylon, India, coming back to the U.S. through the Middle East and Europe.
Our lives have taken different paths and we will talk about that on Monday.
In June we celebrated the first year of Talk 2 Brazil, The world’s first and still only English language internet radio program on business in Brazil. Live Mondays on LA Talk Radio, Los Angeles California. Internet is amazing; the globe has become the size of a tennis ball.
We have had live interviews with guests in Moscow, London, San Diego, Chicago, Miami, New York, Austin, ………..as well as many locations in Brazil.
My thanks to all of the guests for sharing their time; very open, friendly conversations, at a personal and business level. The success of the program comes from you and I deeply appreciate your trust.
Our listenership has grown fantastically, 51 great shows to date with a wide variety of excellent guests and excellent topics.
Destiny has it that through Talk 2 Brazil I was in Texas where I was be part of a workshop in Austin, TX on business in Latin America.
My brother Ron and his wife Barb now reside in San Antonio, TX and I visted them as part of the 40 year celebration. Ron is a professor at Northwest Vista Community College and his wife Barb Reaoch is an executive at BSF International. Ron and Barb actively support www.bsfinternational.org .
Sort of a homecoming week to celebrate forty years in Brazil, the first year of the Talk 2 Brazil program and again, talking to Ron.
Hope you listen.
Thanks to all,
Tom
