The Brazil Jacksonville Alliance of Northeast Florida was established to stimulate commerce between North Florida and Brazil. Our current goal is to develop trade relationships with the southern region of Brazil. In doing so we are working with the City of Jacksonville as well as the City of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil to develop a Sister Cities relationship.

The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association has adopted our notion, and is also assisting in our efforts to finalize this relationship. We also aim to united local professionals and businesses that have interests in Brazil. We are involved with educational development of language and business relations of local students as well as business professionals.

As of the fall of 2008, we are proud to announce that Portuguese, the official language of Brazil, is now being offered as a language course through the Duval County Public School system for the first time.Through our international efforts we hope to simulate local economic development by introducing the City of Jacksonville new markets.

We have monthly general meetings, and periodically we have events to help unite and create business opportunities for local professionals.

The MISSION of the Brazil Jacksonville Alliance of Northeast Florida is to advance Brazil as a leading business partner by fostering trade and investment between Southern Brazil and the greater Jacksonville region. By promoting commerce between the two regions, we will expand economic development and job creation, and increase the volumes of imports and exports through the Northeast Florida region.

The VISION of the Brazil Jacksonville Alliance of Northeast Florida is to become the premier resource organization for trade, culture, and educational opportunities between Southern Brazil and the greater Jacksonville region.

Our SUCCESS will be measured by the relationships and business opportunities that we help develop, as well as to create direct trade lanes to/from our regions.

Happy Birthday LA Talk Radio

Tom Reaoch is proud to be part of the LA Talk Radio team of Hosts and part of the cutting edge in internet radio. Sam Hasson

Thursday is February 4, 2010. Exactly two years ago, LA Talk Radio went on the air for the first time and, in hindsight, none of us really knew what we were doing. None of us had been in radio before.

Fortunately, we had the essential passion to build our radio shows into something that people will want to listen to.

Id like to take this occasion to thank the hosts that came on board on day one, believing in what I had put together in a little executive suite in downtown Los Angeles.
